ఘంటసాల మాస్టారు గారి 90 వ జయంతి నేడు.
మాస్టారు కారణ జన్ములు. ఆయనకు జయంతులు, వర్ధంతులు లేవు. ఆయన చిరంజీవి.
ప్రతి రోజు ఆయన పాటలు నిత్యనూతనంగా వినిపిస్తూనే ఉంటాయి. ఇది మనం చేసుకొన్న పుణ్యం.
అన్ని మతాల వారు కలిసి చేసుకొనే జయంతి ఘంటసాల జయంతి. ,మాస్టారు గారు పాడిన పాటలకు కులాలు, మతాలు లేవు . ఆ పాటలు అజరామరం .

రాగాల సరాగాల సంగీతమాల ఘంటసాల
కళామతల్లికి దొరికిన నిధి మన ఘంటసాల
ఘంటసాల జీవితమే పాటల కళాశాల
ఆ కళాశాలలో విరిసింది ఎన్నెన్నో కమ్మని పాటల సరగామాల
తేనె కన్నా తీయనిది ...................?
అమృతముకన్నా మధురమైనది ............?
వసంతాన్ని మై మరుపించునది .............?
ఘంటసాల మాస్టారి గానామృతం కాక ఏమున్నది .
పాట అయినా ,పద్యం అయినా నీకు నువ్వే సాటి
రాలేదు, రాలేరు, రాబోరు ఎవ్వరూ నీకు సాటి
నీ గాత్రంలో దాగి ఉన్నాయి రాగాలు కోటి
మరువలేదు తెలుగు చరిత్ర నీ పాటల సంపుటి
పాటలతో మమతలు నింపిన మనిషి కనుమరుగైనా ......
ఆయన పాడిన పాటలు శ్రోతల మనసును వీడేనా ?
అవి నిత్యమై, సత్యమై అజరామరమై .......
వినిపిస్తూనే ఉంటాయి ఆ చంద్రార్కం, వాటికీ లేదు మరణం

ఒక్క తెలుగు వారే కాదు, ప్రపంచంలోని సంగీత ప్రియులకు శ్రీ ఘంటసాల మాస్టారు ఆరాధ్య దైవం. ఆయన తెలుగు గడ్డ మీద పుట్టడం మనందరికీ గర్వకారణం . కేవలం పూర్వ జన్మ సుకృతమే కాదు, ఎన్నో జన్మల సుకృతం అని నా భావన. కారణ జన్ములు , పుట్టి వారు చేయాలిసిన పనిని త్వరగా పూర్తి చేసుకొని వెళ్లి పోతారు. ఘంటసాల మాస్టారు కూడా అంతే, కేవలం 51 సంవత్సరాలు జీవించి, ఆ చంద్రార్కం నిలిచి పోయే పాటలను మనకు అందించి , చిరంజీవి గా మిగిలిపోయారు. మీతో పాటు, మేము కూడా ఆయనకు నమస్కార సుమాంజలులు సమర్పిస్తున్నాము.

The Kavitha on Ghantasala Mastaru is superb. If he would have been born in Bengal, we cannot assume the reputation he would have been received in India and Abroad ( I do not mean that he is not having now). I mean that he has not received due importance in Indian Cinema. His struggles and pains to withstand in Telugu Cinema field are unexplainable. We are lucky to have the legend born in our state. On 04/12/2012 at Thagaraya Gaana Sabha Mr. Vamsi Raju told that his troop performed Ghantasala musical programmes in 30 districts in USA and the people are so much attached with Ghantasala even now and donated huge amounts for uplifting physically challenged persons more than 1000 in Andhra Pradesh. It is evident that he is in our hearts and helping the needy persons not related to music.

ReplyDeleteHowever, let us take pride, that he was born in Andhra Pradesh and contributed much to the
Telugu film industry. The fact that even after his death, in 1974, he is still alive in the Hearts of Millions, not only in Andhra Pradesh but also in the other parts of the World, and in particular in USA is indicative that he is Great.This is a more than any Award or Reward.
